Hello, my name is Cady. I am a former bartender, a writer, a fiance and an all around goofy person. I recently “sold out” and went to go work in Tech in California, so I am going to be adjusting to the blog bit by bit. I was a bartender in Brooklyn for two full years, and this blog is the majority of the stories from my life there, and trust me, things get a little bit crazy. Back home in Seattle my mom, sister and brother live and work and I miss them constantly – yet love how supportive they are of my decision to be out here.
In December 2009 I finished my MA in Humanities and Social Thought (Comparative Literature Emphasis) at New York University…and then packed up everything and moved out west. Join me here on this blog as I navigate my way into the real world. I am getting married in July to my roommate/fiance/best friend ever and I am sure some wedding stuff will appear on the blog.
