Hello out there in the blogesphere! I wanted to drop a little note apologizing for my laziness nonexistence on the web for a while. To be perfectly honest the bar has been pretty slow lately – stemming from the Yankees/Phillies world series. That’s the thing about working in a geezer bar, people go to sports bars for the world series. But I am happy to report that it is over, and I am back to work tonight, so hopefully I will have a good post for you all tomorrow.
In other news, MK has been visiting me from Washington, and we went to see a taping of The Daily Show, and also ate our way through the big city. We hit up the best of the best, including: Mamouns, Grimaldi’s, Zabars, Bleeker Street Pizza, Yogurtland and managed to run across the Brooklyn Bridge to try and work off all that food. This was over the course of two days!
As for me, I have been a bit overwhelmed with school this last week, and it’s not going to get any better. I have a pretty big day ahead of me tomorrow (future/career wise) so please keep your fingers crossed for me out there. Other than that I am going to be boring city this weekend writing papers and researching for finals so that I can go home in two weeks and not worry about it.
Hopefully something exciting will happen at the bar tonight, but as I watch the rain clouds roll in over the Manhattan skyline from my desk here (I know, rough life, right?) I have a sneaky suspicion it is going to be a dull night at the bar.
GOOD LUCK!
Is this the potential job Victor told me about? If so…EXTRA LUCK!
